Two-piece ball valves
Technical characteristics
Technical solution
Basically technical solution is very simple, based on a "anty blow" system, that is there is no possibility for spindle to fell out from valve due to working conditions or failures. Mounting the spindle goes from inside the case.
Materials
Two-piece ball valves with thread are by default made of carbon steel W.Nr.1.0619, W.Nr.1.1151, and stainless steel W.Nr.1.4581, W.Nr.1.4571, W.Nr.1.4552, W.Nw.1.4541, W.Nr.1.4408, W.Nr.1.4301. Other matherials are possible if asked.
Gaskets for standard solution are made of teflon (PTFE).
Gaskets on ball for PN 100 and 160 are made of teflon coated with metal.
Mounting and connection measures
Standard design for two-piece ball valves with thread is produced according to EN 10266-1, with connection measures for internal G thread Type: DLS-NG.Č or DLS-NG.K.
By customer request, we are able to do construction with measures:
- for the metric internal thread Type: DLS-NM.Č or DLS-NM.K
- for NPT thread according to ASME B1.20.1 – Type: DLS-NNPT.Č or DLS-NNPT.K
Operating pressure and temperature
Two-piece ball valves fit for nominal pressure PN 16, 25, 40 and 63, and at the request of the customer we produce PN 100 i 160 as well as Class 150, 300, 600, 800, 900, 1500.
Operating temperature is limited by applying teflon (PTFE) as a sealing material up to max. 200°C.
Application area in relation to pressure and temperature is shown on the P-T diagram for teflon (PTFE), and it directly depends on the possible working pressure and working temperature.
TESTING
Each valve is tested after assembly for the hydraulic pressure and sealing according to EN 12266-1.
The area of application
The area of application is very broad, so it includes their application and installation in the lines with non-aggressive and aggressive fluids in consultation with the manufacturer.
